Latina's Code of Conduct describes our company culture, commonly accepted practices, and our commitment to compliance with laws and regulations.
It is of vital importance to Latina that the organisation and each individual employee are financially, socially and ethically conscious and responsible. We must always demonstrate our commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional behavior in our dealings with our customers, suppliers and business partenrs.
Latina believes in responsible, social and ethical behavior and has a responsibility to the employees serving the company and customers worldwide. Latina and its employees have an obligation to all customers to observe high standards of integrity and fair dealing.
Who does the Code of Conduct apply to? The Code of Conduct applies to all our employees and all our business partners/customers/suppliers.
The Code of Conduct does not replace legislation and if any part of it is in conflict, then legislation takes precedence.
Latina recognizes the rights of every child to be protected from economic exploitation and from doing work that is likely to be hazardous to their physical, mental or spiritual health, harmful to their moral or social development, or to interfere with their education. A child in this context is a person younger than 18 years of age
Latina does not employ nor accept any form of forced or bonded labor, prisoners or illegal workers.
Latina complies with local laws and regulations regarding workers’ contracts, working hours, including overtime and overtime compensation. Salaries should be paid regularly and comply with the applicable local legislation and the local market situation. Employees are entitled to a minimum of two days off in seven and to take national and local holidays. Employees should be granted the stipulated annual leave, sick leave and maternity/paternity leave without any negative repercussions.
Latina values and promotes diversity. This includes gender balance for each position. Latina gives priority to the underrepresented gender given equal qualifications and promotes diversity in the recruitment process.
Latina provides a work environment where everybody should be treated with respect and dignity and be given fair and equal opportunities for development. Therefore Latina does not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment in the workplace due to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, age, disability, political opinion, nationality or any other potentially discriminatory factor.
Latina expects all employees to attend work with their judgment unimpaired and therefore to refrain from any alcohol and/or other drug abuse that may affect their work.
We adopt standards, procedures, contingency measures and management systems to ensure that our operations are managed safely, ecologically and in a sustainable way.
Latina continuously seeks to optimise the use of resources, reduce the amount of waste, prevent pollution and in general minimise the environmental impact of our activities. When choosing suppliers, environmental aspects are taken into account.
Latina is committed to providing a safe working environment and reducing risks that can cause accidents or impair the health and wellbeing of its employees.
Hazardous material and equipment should be stored according to applicable rules and policy. There should be clearly marked emergency exits. Exits must not be blocked and should be well lit. All employees should receive information about the safety arrangements .
First aid equipment must be available at appropriate locations, and at least one person in each location should be trained in basic first aid.
Latina respects the laws and regulations related to business ethics and requires that suppliers and customers do the same.
Latina is committed to vigorous but fair competition that is based on the added value of products and services and does not engage in unfair, misleading or inaccurate comparisons, anti-competitive agreements or arrangements. All dealings with competitors should be handled carefully.
Latina does not accept bribes, facilitation payments or extortion in any form, be it as a giver/ initiator or as a receiver.
Purchasing and sales activities shall be handled with utmost integrity. Therefore neither Latina nor its employees should give or accept any gifts, gratuities or entertainment offers that could influence the employee’s or the customer’s decision making. Small gifts, hospitalities and expenses are very common and natural in business relationships. With careful consideration and at a moderate value this could be acceptable, except whenever such arrangements could improperly affect the outcome of business transactions.

Confidential information is information belonging to Latina that is not subject to public disclosure. Confidential information encompasses information produced by Latina or obtained in confidence from a third party and covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
The integrity of Latina’s record-keeping and reporting systems, including electronic reports and systems, is of utmost importance. Employees must take special care to make sure that records are accurately and completely prepared and reviewed.
Conflict of interest between the employee and the company must be avoided. Should such conflict occur, the employee must inform the immediate manager.

The interest of Latina shall be upheld in relations with customer and supplier at all times.
Employees mat not be involved in illegal and unethical acts in order to acquire information about customers, suppliers and business partners.
Employees shall threat customers, suppliers and business partners in line with principles of respect, equality, courtesy and equity.
Employees shall not assume misleading and deceitful behaviours towards customers, suppliers and business partners.
Confidential information of customers, suppliers and business partners shall not be disclosed to third parties.
